The results of the PVrosion were disseminated during the 21st International Conference on Environment and Electrical Engineering (EEEIC 2021) with one oral presentations by Christos Melios of the Power Systems Modelling Lab (UCY).
The conference paper presented with title “Determining the dynamic insulation resistance of DC cables used in photovoltaic systems under operational conditions” disseminates the work done in collaboration between the High Voltage Laboratory of the National Technical University of Athens and the Power Systems Modelling Lab (UCY).

The presented paper investigates the effects of DC and soil properties on the insulation resistance of cables used in the PV industry through laboratory measurements and finite element multiphysics simulation modeling. This work provided insights into the dynamic changes of the insulation resistance based on the parameters mentioned above.
