As part of WP7, SteelCor Research Infrastructure of the Cyprus University of Technology (CUT) will perform current and environmental-induced accelerated corrosion of steel-reinforced concrete specimens. The first batch of specimens has been produced. These specimens will later be conditioned and placed in climatic chambers. At the end of the experiments, they will be subjected to destructive and non-destructive corrosion testing. These experiments aim at evaluating the effects of BIPV and BAPV leakage currents on the building infrastructure.
